The ribbed texture and flare create an elongating, textured look — the trouser that uses the ribbed construction to give the high-waisted flare silhouette a surface relief that adds dimension without print and makes the flare at the hem feel like the natural release point for a trouser that is otherwise close-fitting from waist to knee.
