The V-neck, long sleeves, and short length create a balanced, covered look — the mini dress that uses the long sleeve to give the abbreviated length a sleeve that extends fully to the wrist and uses the V-neck to give the long-sleeved mini format an opening at the neckline that prevents the combination of full sleeve and short skirt from reading as overly covered-up.
